When media personality Zola Hashatsi reportedly impersonated a doctor and attempted to treat a patient in one of the wards at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, a nurse’s attentiveness seemed to have saved a possible calamity.
Zola Hashatsi, a former Rhythm City actor, was arrested after impersonating a medical practitioner. Hashatsi was arrested at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, where he was providing medical advise to patients. Since 2022, Hashatsi had been impersonating a doctor and had even been employed as a’medical professional’ at a nearby clinic.

He has also been giving medical advise to patients on social media while claiming to be a doctor. Hashatsi’s lie was revealed when a hospital patient observed that he was wearing a stethoscope and a mask.
