The ongoing feud between former Uyajola 9.9 presenter Molemo Katleho Maarohanye, also known as Jub Jub, and his former employers at Moja LOVE has taken an unexpected turn. Following his dismissal from the channel, Jub Jub is reportedly suing Moja LOVE for breach of contract for more than R100 million rand.

Jub Jub allegedly insulted a business partner in December of last year, destroying the station’s relationship with the Bakgatla-ba-Kgafela tribal community. Despite efforts to resolve the issue, including Jub Jub’s unsuccessful attempts to issue a public apology to Keabetswe Mokoena, the channel withheld his salary as punishment for his misconduct.

Moja LOVE parted ways with Jub Jub last week, but the former presenter isn’t taking it lying down. According to the City Press, Jub Jub is suing the channel for nearly R100 million rand, claiming that his contract was terminated because he issued a letter of demand for an unpaid or withheld salary.

According to Sunday World, Jub Jub was fired shortly after his lawyers demanded his January salary, which had been withheld by the channel due to the December incident. Jub Jub allegedly used expletives when addressing Keabetswe Mokoena, prompting the channel to demand a public apology. When he refused to comply, his salary was withheld, eventually leading to his dismissal.
