Thabo Bester’s co-accused and reputed lover Nandipha Magudumana has been accused of using public sympathy for the second time. The famous cosmetic doctor seemed dejected and mournful in a bail hearing on Tuesday, August 29. Cameras zoomed in on her as tears streamed down her cheeks.
Nandipha Magudumana stood alone in the dock at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court for her bail application. The mother-of-two, along with 10 others, including Thabo Bester, is accused of assisting the latter in escaping from the Mangaung Correctional Centre last year.
But, in contrast to her last appearance, in which she clasped hands and gazed affectionately into Bester’s eyes, the famous businesswoman appeared unhappy and depressed this time.
Although Nandipha may have intended to appear helpless and sad in court on Tuesday, many social media users saw claimed they saw through her seeming facade. Entertainment personality Phil Mphela was the first to call her out, tweeting: “I bet Dr Nandipha watches all the media coverage around her.
