A video has been doing rounds on the internet. The video features what is believed to be a young girl being helped to remove a live frog that was inside her private part.
The person shooting the video we don’t know his/ her motive behind such act but it is very disturbing I wouldn’t recommend anyone to what watch the video. Many online users have concluded that the young female was cursed and all that, there are no facts on such claims.
The act performed on the video is believed to be called a fertility ritual derived from ancient Egyptians. The ritual is now mostly performed by Ethiopians, sometimes they use a live snake as a substitute.
Why a frog?
According to Wikipedia ” the ancient Egyptians, the frog was a symbol of life and fertility, since millions of them were born after the annual flooding of the Nile, which brought fertility to the otherwise barren lands”. Until today the ritual is still being performed and seems to have other parts of African countries. It is not a scientifically proven method this is considered a myth because no one till today understands the relationship between a frog and fertility.
