Nkayi describes how Mhlongo abandoned her during her divorce from Thomas Msengana. Instead, Mhlongo chose sides between the couple, clearly siding with Msengana. Nkayi incorporates Mhlongo’s unsavoury commentary about her divorce into his story line on Idols SA.
She was unable to attend Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung’s wedding because her friendship with Mhlongo was already on hold. It all started with the Idols SA judging panel and spread to their personal lives. Nkayi, on the other hand, is deeply grateful to her father, who has guided her throughout the drama that she has witnessed with Mhlongo.
