Rumours and lies are always speculated when a prominent figure leaves a show, and many reasons have been imagined. One of the main actors in Mzansi Magic soapie Gomora ditches the show and leaves fans wondering what’s happening.

Sources have it that Melusi felt undermined, and salary woes became the deciding factor in leaving the show. However, in the mix of things many questions have been asked about how much was he paid on Gomora.

In the wake of his exit, it seems as if Zolisa decided to focus on growing his already promising business empire rather than battle salary woes with Gomora showrunners. Xolisa played the role of a respected Gomora High School principal. Married to Gladys ‘Thembi Seete‘, they had a son Thokozo. Melusi’s family is always associated with the Molefe family. Melusi seemed not to be able to move on from boyhood lover Othatile Molefe while Ntokozo is also in a crime-love relationship with both Mazet and Buhle.

Gladys served Melusi divorce papers in the awakening of events and threw a party in celebration. Melusi pursued Thathi and found out that her husband Phumulani was on the verge of killing her of cheating allegations. He killed Phumilani in cold blood, an event that saw him arrested and hence left the show.

It surprised many that Xolisa is the founder and owner of a company employing around fifty employees. He is the owner of Lakey Media, a talent agency in Sandton.
