Lerato Nxumalo (born 9 February 1999) is a South African actress best known for her role as Dr. Luthuli, the cheerful and loyal medical intern on Durban General Hospital. She was a supporting character on Isthembiso and Madume. She also had a little part in the featured film Trapped. She has also appeared in television advertisements, most recently as the lead in the 2019 Aero campaign and the lead in the 2017 Edgars Women’s Day campaign. auditioned for the 2020 season of Durban Gen, a television drama.

Her acting agency, Star Quality Management, which has offices in both Johannesburg and Durban, notified her about the Durban Gen auditions.
