SABC1 Uzalo is a South African soap opera that has been shown on SABC1 since 2015. With an estimated 11 million people turning in for each episode, it is the most-watched TV show in the country.

The show revolves around the life of a close-knit family who reside in the fictional town of KwaMashu. After 8 years and 8 seasons, the award-winning soapie Uzalo has altered its title sequence.

Uzalo welcomes Noluthando Meje. Noluthando Meje portrays Zola, who comes at KwaMashu police station with her partner Thalente to wind up an investigation into money laundering at KwaNjomane and stomp on Mondli’s toes, according to entertainment pundit Phil Mpela. Meje will make her debut on the show in May.
