Big Zulu, a popular South African rapper, has finally responded to a long-running social media joke regarding his s.e.xuality. This comes when popular X influencer @AdvoBarryRoux reposted wedding images of the Inkabi Records CEO’s doppelganger on Instagram.

Last year, photographs of the purported gay pair went viral, with Big Zulu’s name leading the trending list. Trolls claimed at the time that the hip-hop star had married his high school love. When the photographs were revived this time, Big Zulu lambasted the accusations, informing the troll that they are embarrassing, defamatory, and insulting.

“This is damaging to my reputation” (or character). Please respect me because respect has gotten me where I am now. I’m a mature guy with children, and seeing this garbage you posted would irritate them. I have a family that I want you to respect; even if you don’t, it’s not an issue.”
