Sindi was nominated for Best Actress in a Telenovela for her part in The River for the fourth time in a row, and she’s always been nominated for each season, every year.

Lindiwe Dikana received her fifth nomination for her role on TheRiver1Magic at the #SAFTAs17, Dlathu has set a record. Should she not get the nom for Season 6, the record stands for 5 seasons for same role.

She is well known for her role as Muvhango’s Thandaza Mokoena, which she portrayed from the show’s beginning in 1997 until her departure in 2018. Dlathu departed Muvhango to star in the telenovela The River as Lindiwe Dlamini-Dikana, a tough lady who would do anything to defend her fortune and maintain her extravagant lifestyle.
