Mzansi hitmakers Master KG and Makhadzi were unable to maintain their romance when a Botswana businessman allegedly intervened.

This follows allegations this week that Makhadzi, born Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, was dating former Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandela owner Lawrence Muluadzi.

The journal understands that a mystery Botswana businessman is at the centre of the country’s music power couple’s break-up after Master KG, born Kgaogelo Moagi, revealed in December that he had broken up with the murahu hitmaker without giving explanations.

According to sources close to the freshly minted Metro FM award singer, the Mulaudzi was also behind Makhadzi’s One-Woman Concert in Botswana in March 2022. “He is stationed in Botswana, and she travels there with him.” Things carried on for a while until Master KG realised what was going on and broke up with her in that public post in December,” a source claimed.

According to the mole, the businessman also persuaded Makhadzi to leave her record company, Open Mic Productions, and launch her own label, Makhadzi Entertainment.

“He informed her that she could make more money on her own and that she did not have to work for others since she is a huge star.” As a result, she benefited much from his business skills and support.”

Another mole who used to work with the singer at Open Mic Productions said the split was not all flowers, because the Jerusalema hitmaker made difficulties when he asked Makhadzi for a reimbursement for all he had done for her.

“That was a major deal since Master KG is known for being superhuman,” a former coworker noted.

“Thus, when they split up, it was dramatic because he demanded that everything he owned be returned to him.” I’m not sure if he received anything in return.”

Master KG declined to respond, adding, “Eish, this one I don’t want to discuss… We’re still working together, so I won’t say anything.”

In a December Facebook post regarding the split, he said, “It is terrible to tell this, but me and my queen Makhadzi are no longer in a relationship, but we continue to work together to amuse our beloved fans going forward.” Thank you very much.”

Makhadzi did not respond to texts addressed to her.

Zimoja claimed last week that Makhadzi and Vhavenda Princess Masindi Mphephu had a child.
